So in 2007 Nancy Larson Science was selected to be the new science program for the private school because it was workable, thorough, student friendly, and most importantly, to the point.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"363\" height=\"622\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Capture.png\" alt=\"As a parent I'm impressed with the vocabulary the first graders come home with, and as a teacher I'm impressed with the correlation between grade levels and continuity. -- Tiffany Keen\" class=\"wp-image-910\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Capture.png 363w, https:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Capture-175x300.png 175w, https:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Capture-220x376.png 220w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 363px) 100vw, 363px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Success throughout the grade levels<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school started with Science 1 and is now also using <a title=\"Science K\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/programs\/science-k\/\"><em>Science K<\/em><\/a>, <a title=\"Science 2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/programs\/science-2\/\"><em>Science 2<\/em><\/a>, and <a title=\"Science 3\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/programs\/science-3\/\"><em>Science 3<\/em><\/a>. For the past two years the fourth graders have been field testing <a title=\"Science 4\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nancylarsonpublishers.com\/classroom\/main\/programs\/science-4\/\"><em>Science 4<\/em><\/a>. Third grade teacher and parent of two, Tiffany Keen, has seen firsthand her students and her own children succeed and excel as they progress to the next grade levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Students learn study skills for life<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principal Mary Arledge sees the Nancy Larson Science lessons as a learning tool not only for science but also for strong study habits. \u201cNancy Larson Science is actually teaching crucial study skills at a very early age,\u201d she says.
