College Scholarship
The Nancy Larson Foundation, Inc. is proud to sponsor five $1000 scholarships for college students studying to become elementary school teachers.
Juniors and seniors who have declared an elementary education major are invited to submit a personal story about why they were inspired to become an elementary school teacher and what they hope to accomplish as a teacher. Applicants will also be asked to list community service activities and experiences they have had working with children. The deadline for 2007 scholarships has passed. Stay tuned for 2008 next year's application information!
Nancy Larson Publishers “Win a Free Science Program” Contest
Nancy Larson Publishers, Inc. announces a contest for elementary school teachers. Winners will receive a free grade-appropriate classroom kit for the new Nancy Larson Science 1–3 program. Included are teacher manuals, student materials, science tool kit, teaching posters, charts and photos, and vocabulary word wall cards. First, second, and third grade teachers are invited to submit a personal story about a challenge they face or have faced in their teaching and how they addressed that challenge. The deadline for the "Win a Free Science Program" Contest has passed. Winners will be announced soon!
